This is the story of The Lost Boyz, a youth group created to disrupt violence, improve social and emotional conditions, and provide financial opportunities among the youth in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago - powered by America’s pastime. The Lost Boyz baseball league is so much more than batting practice and fastballs. It’s a family, and together they can achieve anything.

A group of young baseball players in South Shore strive to use the sport as community care in this inspiring documentary. Through hard work and determination, the team fights to overcome the challenges and obstacles they face in their pursuit of success on and off the field. As they work towards their goal of becoming little league champions, they also learn valuable life lessons as they come of age in the “City of Broad Shoulders”.
